Join One Voice Mixed Chorus on LGBT Pride Weekend to celebrate 30 years of One Voice! Roots & Wings reflects on where we have journeyed in our 30 years and honors the resilience of the LGBT and allied community. Drawing from our roots, One Voice performs audience favorites including Wanting Memories, Gay vs Straight Composers and The Lesbian Second Date Moving Service!
From our rich history of commissioning new music, audiences will hear One Voice’s first ever commission One Voice by Minnesota songwriter Ann Reed performed with One Voice alumni, as well as Our Phoenix composed by two transgender artists and performed with the Trans Voices Chorus.
Spreading our ‘wings’, the concert showcases our future dreams with Pink Zebra’s We Won’t Stop Dreaming, and The Shape of Change by One Voice singers Marisa Geisler and Kate Lynn Hibbard. Experience the One Voice story on Pride weekend!
