Gender UnChecked smashes the boxes of gender stereotypes with songs, playful and profound, by Harry Bellefonte, Dar Williams, Eric Whitacre, Fanny Mendelssohn, and William Byrd. The concert infuses stories of struggle and hope by LGBT storytellers young and old, including youth from RECLAIM, a support organization for queer youth. Award-winning artist, Bart Buch has created giant, gender bending puppets that appear in the concert, and an interactive lobby display will make you see gender in a whole new way!
